CAIRO — Palestinian authorities say Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip have killed 19 people today, including six children.
Health officials say the children and their mother were killed in an airstrike on a house in central Gaza. The attack comes as Secretary of State Antony Blinken is heading back to Israel in an effort to bring about a ceasefire and free hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas.
Talks are scheduled this week in Cairo with negotiators from the U.S., Egypt and Qatar.
