Beloved actor Nelsan Ellis passed away on July 8th due to heart failure and according to The Hollywood Reporter it will be open to the public.

On July 21st friends, family and fans will be able to pay their respects for Ellis at Leak & Sons Funeral Home.
The family of Ellis days after his death released a statement to say that he struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. This ultimately led to his death and they wanted people dealing with the same issues to understand his struggle.
The devastating news of his passing made many pour out heartfelt messages about him.
Although Ellis was very private about his life he is survived by a slew of loving family members that we are keeping in our prayers.
