Ray Lewis’ Son Turns Himself In For Sexually Assaulting Two Women
On Friday, April 29, the son of former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis turned himself in for sexually assaulting two women and was charged with third-degree sexual criminal conduct.
Sources say a warrant for his arrest was issued on Monday and that he was placed in jail early Friday morning and later released on a $10,000 bond. According to Deadspin,
“On Jan. 23, at 4:18 a.m., police went to a local hospital in response to a report of sexual assault. That’s where two women asked for rape kits to be performed on them. The kits were completed and placed into evidence. The narrative picks up again on April 25, when the investigation was completed.
After compiling medical reports from the hospital, victim statements, and lab results, the case was presented to the 15th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office for review. After they did a thorough examination of all items listed, we were directed to move forward and seek an arrest warrant on one case at this time.”
Police reports say the second case is still under investigation. Lewis’ lawyers released a statement saying Lewis himself believes he is not guilty.
