Mariah Carey has been hospitalized, as the singer has reportedly come down with a severe case of the flu.
The female singing veteran woke up this morning severely under the weather, and started feeling bad after her performance at Pier 1 in New York City.
TMZ reports, Mariah is getting pumped full of fluids and vitamins to fight off a nasty bout of the flu. We’re told she was so dehydrated and ill … her team made the call to get her emergency treatment.
Sources also told the site that she should be released later today, which shouldn’t conflict with her performance at the Hot 97 holiday concert in New Jersey this weekend.
We wish a speedy recovery for Mariah, and hope everything clears up.
