The recently separated comedian and the cast newbie may be leaving at “The View” at end of this season, but UsMagazine.com reports that they’re checking out for very different reasons. This comes at a very difficult time for Sherri, who is currently going through a divorce with her estranged husband Lamar Sally. Still, it seems that she’s made her peace with the situation.

Even though she couldn’t reach an agreement on her new contract, Sherri is leaving “The View” with fond memories. Shepherd said in a personal statement to Deadline.com, “It’s been seven wonderful years on ‘The View’ and after careful consideration it is time for me to move on.”
