Shooting Reported At Bishop Eddie Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church

There was a shooting today (February 5) in the parking lot of Bishop Eddie Long‘s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church outside of Atlanta in Lithonia, GA. The shooting involved a deputy who is reportedly okay.
A spokesperson for the church told WSB-TV that the shooting is unrelated to the church. Deputies reportedly chased a suspect onto church property where the shooting occurred. The suspect’s condition is currently unknown.
