Alpha Phi Alpha Step Team Pays Tribute To Dr. King On Arsenio [VIDEO]
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc on June 22, 1952 while studying at Boston University. The Fraternity was instrumental in the creation and funding of the MLK National Memorial Washington, D.C.
To celebrate what would have been the Civil Rights icon’s 85th birthday, members of Alpha performed a tribute step routine on The Arsenio Hall show. The talk show’s crimson “A” was lit in Alpha’s old gold for the occasion as the six members of “Step By Step” stomped out their tribute.
