James Avery (Uncle Phil From “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air”) Has Died
James Avery, well-known for his role on the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” has died at age 65. Avery passed away in a Los Angeles hospital last night after complications from a recent undergoing open heart surgery.
According to TMZ, Avery’s wife had been by his side the whole time before briefly stepping out for food. When she came back, she was informed that James had passed away.

Avery’s co-star and on-camera son, Alfonso Ribeiro, expressed his sadness via Twitter moments after the news broke.
