Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” album hit itunes today. You can’t log on to a social network without your Facebook wall or Twitter time line flooded with updates about the album.

We all know Jay-Z was not always #TeamKanyeWest and Jay-Z don’t collabo  with just anyone. Things have changed since the days of being skeptical about Kanye West, Jay have collaborated with Kanye several times. I think it is safe to say Kanye has proven himself more than worthy.

TUD and myself (@itsJazzyFBaby) have decided to pick our top 5 Jay-Z and Kanye West collaborations. Check out the list below.

5. Kanye West- Monster ft. Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross: Off Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album this track was just that, a monster. I feel Nicki Minaj showed out on everyone but this song was the bizness with a capital B. Monster had an old school feel with a new school flow.

4. Jay-Z & Kanye West (The Throne)-Otis: Sampling the late Otis Redding, “Otis” delivered something hip hop fans has waited to hear. Real Hip Hop! Many of the critics said the song was nothing special. I say they are all crazy! Otis left you wanting to hear more from “Watch The Throne.”

3. T.I.- Swagger Like Us ft. Kanye West, Jay-Z & Lil Wayne: Jay-Z showed out on this one without a doubt, but then again Jay shows out quite often. Jay let the young ones know who’s boss. The swagger was on a trillion and the flow unmatched. Everyone on this track delivered a mean verse. I guess you can’t expect anything less from four rap superstars.

2. Jay-Z- Run This Town ft. Rihanna & Kanye West: On The hit single from The Blueprint 3, Kanye West just may have killed Jay on his own song. This was the era of the passing of Kanye’s and the media watching his every move. Kanye was a beast on the record. He clearly held his own up against Jay on this one. I’m sure even Jay had to give him a dap on this one.

1. Kanye West- Diamond From Sierra Leone ft. Jay-Z (Remix): During the era of the fall of Roc-A-Fella records, Jay-Z exploded on this track letting the fans know he wasn’t going to let the Roc completely die. The man who is a business himself made it clear that he would hold the foundation together and create a new movement based on the same principles. A few years later, Roc-Nation came to life.
