Beyonce’s “Best Thing I Never Had” video is coming soon, but the shooting didn’t go without a few hiccups. According to the New York Daily News, Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, came to set with such a diva attitude, it sent heads spinning.

Tina came with four(!) assistants who followed her around and “the crew was told to call her ‘Miss Tina’ if they were to talk to her at all.”
Tina also caught a fit and “flipped out on the camera guys for making Beyonce stand near the extras for too long.”
Meanwhile, Bey “was fine with [talking to anyone]. She was making everyone laugh.”
In the video, Bey wears a purple dress to prom, but isn’t crowned prom queen. She told the cast and crew it reminded her a lot of her real life in which she was never got the chance to wear the coveted tiara at her own high school dance. She also revealed to the staff that it was “weird” not having her real father, Mathew, walk her down the aisle in the video’s wedding scene.
The video was filmed in a Sleepy Hollow country club in New York’s Westchester County and in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
