Katy Perry and Kanye West – each hit-making machines in their own right – have joined forces on a new song, “E.T.” The original version, off Katy’s “Teenage Dream” album, features her solo, but the remix is what will be released as a single.
Kanye’s two new verses open and close the track about extraordinary lovers.
It seems Katy Perry has forgiven Kanye for the infamous Taylor Swift incident. At the time, she tweeted this message: “F*** U KANYE. IT’S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN.”
But the two are better off now. Katy even tweeted a photo of them on set of the video. SEE IT IN THE GALLERY BELOW!
The video is directed by Floria Sigismondi, who did Christina Aguilera’s dark and eerie “Fighter” video back in 2003.
