Marvin Sapp just debuted his album “Close” and it climbed all the way to #1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. For the fifth consecutive time the preacher, singer and songwriter has achieved this. Sapp debuted the 10-track album in late September and gave fans a touch of inspiring, uplifting and “churchy but funky” style of music.

The album “Close” features productions from Rodney Jerkins, R. Kelly, Kirk Franklin and Aaron Lindsey.
