Boosie Badazz had a major surgery earlier this week that saved his life, but it was a lot more serious that anyone had imagined.
The Louisiana rapper, who revealed he was diagnosed with kidney cancer in late November, went into surgery on Tuesday and had half of a kidney removed, according to TMZ. Doctors believe all of the cancer was removed from his body during the nephrectomy procedure.
Though Boosie is continuing to live his life, the surgery cost him a lot. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any health insurance and had to pay $90,000 out of pocket for the procedure. It will be some time before Boosie makes his comeback, but he’s promising to make it a major event.
