There are going to be so many guest stars on Empire‘s second season, you’d probably think you’re watching Hollywood Squares. And we’re not complaining! The latest to sign on for season two is Vivica A. Fox, and she play Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) big sister, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Fox is going to shake things up a bit for the Lyons family. It was previously reported that this upcoming season will include more flashbacks of Cookie’s life while she was in prison, so adding another sister to the mix should make for good. (Tasha Smith played one of Cookie’s sisters in the first season.)
It also looks like the show’s creator Lee Daniels is thinking of a spinoff show based on Cookie’s family. We think audiences would be into the insane antics of the Holloway family. One thing’s for sure, their style game this season will be one to talk about!
Empire returns to Fox on Wednesday, September 23 at 9 p.m. ET.
