After a week of controversy and anger from his fans for numerous onstage outbursts, Kanye West has been taken to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.

According to TMZ, cops responded to a call for a welfare check on the rapper, and paramedics took him to the hospital. A doctor was checking him for severe sleep deprivation when someone, possibly his physician, decided he need to be admitted.

Law enforcement sources say West did not want to go to be hospitalized and was placed in restraints.
This scary news comes on the heels of a rough week for Yeezy. He received backlash for supporting Donald Trump in the middle of a performance, and then lashing out at Jay Z and Beyoncé at another concert two days later. Earlier today, he abruptly cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour altogether.
It appears that whether or not West meant everything he said on stage, he is clearly in need of help. We pray for his swift recovery.
