This week, on September 13th, was the 20-year-mark of the anniversary of Tupac‘s death. Though he was a controversial artist, known for his disdain for the police and for standing up as a storyteller of the trials and tribulations of young black men, he was also (and remains to be) one of hip-hop’s most cherished artists.

All year round, Tupac and his influence on music are celebrated, but particularly on the 20th anniversary of his death, the world takes a pause to remember a young life that was so impactful.  Headkrack discusses the legacy Tupac left behind, and plays some clips of some of the people closest to him talking about what his imprint really means in this world.
