Social media went up in a frenzy after a video leaked of what appears to be Cam Newton exiting the interview because he didn’t want to answer reporters’ questions.

Everyone from former NFL players, to “fans” criticized his actions calling him “immature” and even a “boy.”

The controversial tweet from Bill Romanowski has since been deleted, and he apologized for the tweet.

But, in recently released footage by a Twitter user, we see there may have been another, “less immature” reason Cam decided to get up and end his press conference.

In the video, we hear Bronco’s player Chris Harris in another post-game interview discussing how his team was able to the defeat the Panthers.

He says, “Load the box, force y’all to throw the ball. Can you throw the football? That was the game plan.

Apparently, the two interviews were only separated by a thin black curtain, and upon hearing the statements, Cam left the room.

Cam has yet to clarify the true reason behind his early exit.
