Wiz Khalifa‘s perpetual aura of cool was breached by law enforcement on Saturday. And apparently it was because of his hoverboard.
Khalifa was riding through the Los Angeles Airport on his hoverboard when a swarm of police stepped to him. The officers are caught on video holding Khalifa to the ground for refusing to get off that vehicle. “Stop resisting,” they yell as Khalifa is helplessly on the ground.
The LAPD remained mum on the details of the arrest, but Khalifa refused to be silenced. He went to Twitter to explain that this is bigger than him. In fact, this is about an entire generation in which hoverboards will be a new way a life. His words, not ours.
