Rumors swirled about Claudia Jordan getting fired from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but she put rumors to rest revealing her current status on the show.
“No one called and said, ‘Hey, it’s a wrap.’ It didn’t happen,” Claudia told PEOPLE Saturday after her Essence Festival Empowerment panel in New Orleans.

“Now, have I gotten my pick-up letter yet? No, I have not,” Claudia added.

Claudia wasn’t confirmed until September last year for season 7, but she’s perfectly fine if it never happens for season 8. “I’m okay with it being the end of the road if it is, but you never know!,” Claudia said. “It’s not over til the fat lady sings, sand I haven’t heard her sing yet.”

Part of the rumor is that NeNe Leakes is the reason Claudia was “fired.” Ironically, reports are now saying NeNe won’t return. But according to Cocoa Fab, Claudia isn’t mad she won’t be back next season, especially after their big falling out last season.
“I didn’t expect to be put in that position, ” Claudia said looking back on their explosive argument. “I didn’t think I’d go to dinner and be called a whore and be told I have no c—.”
