YG was shot in at a recording studio in Los Angeles earlier this morning (June 12), according to TMZ. The publication reports that their law enforcement sources say it happened at around 1:45 am in Studio City. It’s reported that the Def Jam rapper was shot three times in the hip.
YG was reportedly able to make it to his car where a member of his entourage drove him to a nearby hospital.

The police were subsequently called and it’s reported that they found “multiple shell casings and blood on the sidewalk,” says TMZ. Law enforcement went to see YG in hospital were he was “very uncooperative.”

The rapper’s condition is currently unknown.
