The 2015 Academy Awards brought damning criticism for the award show’s lack of diversity, perhaps most popularly in the form of the nonstop (and often sadly hilarious) hashtag campaign #OscarsSoWhite. Specifically at issue this year is the very noticeable snub of Selma director Ava DuVernay in the Best Director category.

Host Neil Patrick Harris acknowledged the issue in the first minute of the ceremony, joking, “Tonight we honor Hollywood’s best and whitest—I mean, brightest!”

Selma does get a nod for Best Picture but faces tough odds with favorites BirdmanBoyhood, and The Grand Budapest Hotel leading the pack. As ever, all eyes will be on that category while John Legend and Common look to snag an award for Best Original Song for their track “Glory,” pulled from the Selma soundtrack.

Check out a full list of winners (so far) below and watch out for updates through the ceremony.
