The Turkey pardon was a lot more entertaining this year thanks to Sasha and Malia!
Being part of the first family does not exclude you from being thoroughly, utterly embarrassed by your parents. Sasha and Malia were giving their old man all of the side-eye they could muster during the Thanksgiving tradition, and we have sooo been there. No matter how much you love them, who among us hasn’t been over their parents at some point during the holidays?
Although the young ladies were standing by their father, they didn’t seem particularly interested in the whole ceremony. Photographers were hard-pressed to catch them cracking a smile. Instead no one could have predicted all of the gloriously hilarious faces they were pulling during the pardon.
President Obama tried to get the girls in on the act by petting the turkey, but they refused. And we don’t blame them.
