We say almost because there are still some physical alterations that can rub the public the wrong way. Tiny recently found that out when she decided that it would be fun to make her eyes ice gray. She faced all kinds of backlash and accusations that she’s ashamed of her Black heritage because she opted to swap out her brown eyes.

In fact, Wendy Williams even likened lightening her eyes to someone lightening their skin color in an attempt to erase the physical markers of their ethnicity.

Tiny must have missed the memo on eye color equating to feeling good about one’s self because she doesn’t see this issue the same as everyone else does.

“People are saying I must have low self-esteem, but if you really know me, I have no problems in the self-esteem department!” she told “People” magazine recently. “You have to do what makes you happy. As long as you’re being healthy and safe, just do what makes you feel good.”

Tiny’s been very open about her plastic surgery, publicly admitted that she’s gotten breast and butt implants. Besides, this wasn’t some drastic decision she’d made. Tiny had been thinking about getting this procedure for a really long time as an alternative to contacts. “I had been wearing colored contacts for a couple of years, and they were making my vision blurry,” Tiny explained. “A friend of mine mentioned that she had heard of a procedure where you could permanently change your eye color, and we looked into it.”

She added, “We researched it for a bit, but I was nervous because it’s your eyes! But two years later, it came up again. I spoke to the doctors and to patients who’d had it.”

And there’s a chance that Tiny may not always keep her eyes so light. One of the major perks about this procedure is that fact that she can change her eye color back to brown someday if she so chooses.

“I learned that there was no downtime, that it only took about 15 minutes,” she revealed, “plus it’s reversible. When I found out that you could reverse it, I was sold!”
