Chris Brown Court Date

Chris Brown accepted a plea deal this morning (September 2) in his Washington, D.C. assault case. According to TMZ, the singer plead guilty and was sentenced to time already served. Breezy told the judge that he just wants this case to go away so he can go back on tour.

Brown also apologized in court, telling the judge the case had derailed his career for the past year. Brown’s current girlfriend Karrueche Tran was also in the courtroom.

As we previously reported, Brown was charged with misdemeanor assault after punching a man in the face outside his tour bus last October. Brown had been in D.C. taking part in the Howard’s homecoming festivities. His bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, was convicted of misdemeanor assault in April for his role in the assault, but he has yet to be sentenced.

Brown only served two days in a D.C. jail, but he wound up serving 108 days in L.A. County jail because the D.C. case violated his probation in his Rihanna assault case.
