After being hospitalized on June 7th for injuries from a horrific car crash, Tracy Morgan has been released from the hospital, according to ABC News. Here’s the latest from his publicist:

“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and [his fiancée] Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”

Tracy Morgan is now in an undisclosed rehabilitation facility.

Tracy Morgan is on the road to a full recovery. According to the comedian’s rep, he’s showing strong signs of improvement and has been “upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement.”

“His personality is certainly starting to come back as well,” the funny man’s rep revealed in a statement.

As we reported earlier, the actor was in critical, but stable, condition following a deadly six-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike on June 7. Although his leg was horribly broken in the accident, the “30 Rock” alum was better off than his longtime friend and writing partner James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, who lost his life in the crash.

Prosecutors charged 35-year-old Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper with death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. Police told ABC News that Roper was dozing off moments before the chain-reaction collision. He turned himself in Saturday night and bail was set at $50,000. He plead not guilty.

According to TMZ, Morgan’s assistant, who was injured in the wreck, was also upgraded to fair condition.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted as more details on Tracy’s condition and the case arise.
